Saffura Anwar

Ms. Saffura Javed Anwar has been in the field of education for 14+ years, out of which the last six years have been with GEMS Legacy School. She holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Human Development and considers the skill of building relationships may it be the teacher-student or teacher-parent as vital in order to make learning meaningful for students. Her belief that the process of learning never stops has led to her growth in the organization from a teacher in the year 2016 to a Deputized Supervisor of Grade 3 in the year 2020.

As a leader she leaves no stone unturned in finding opportunities to empower her team of teachers and considers their well-being very crucial in the success of the department. She envisions Grade 3 as a department, where teachers and parents work in cohesion for the benefit of students and the foundation of which is laid on ‘trust’.
