Princy Soosepper

Princy Soosepper holds a Postgraduate Degree in Microbiology and Cambridge International Certificate in Education. Her career in education spans over an illustrious 14 years. She started her career in 2006 as a Lecturer in Biotechnology and since then she has been fortunate enough to make a positive difference to the skills and lives of her students. As a teacher, she consistently pursues innovative strategies to draw the best from all her students. She has high expectations of herself and others and believes that overcoming challenges and problem solving is key to the success of a teacher and a leader.
During her journey in GEMS Legacy School for the past 6 years, her diligence and competence as a teacher elevated her to the position of a Teaching and Learning Coach in Science. In her capacity as a Teaching and Learning Coach, she has been instrumental in coaching her team with research-based pedagogical strategies to enhance student outcomes in science as well as strengthening enquiry skills and climate literacy. She was one of the finalists in the 2018 GESS Awards for the ‘Use of STEAM based learning’. She is a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert and integrates new technologies in learning. As a UN accredited Climate Change Teacher she has succeeded in embedding climate literacy in the Science Curriculum across the Primary and Secondary Phases.
