Mareen Mathew

Mareen Mathew holds a post-graduate degree in Mathematics. She is a certified Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (MIEE) and Regional Rank-holder in CENTA-TPO. She has been actively involved in the teaching profession for the last 13 years and has added value to the team as Educational Supervisor since 2016.

As a Teaching and Learning Coach for Mathematics, Mareen is most passionate about teaching the subject and strives to instil the love for it in all her students and co-teachers. She firmly believes in building conceptual understanding as well as procedural fluency in Mathematics through multiple representations and mathematical arguments.  In her role as Head of Assessments, Mareen leads the development, organization, analysis and reporting of student learning outcomes and related activities. She promotes internal and external communication of assessment results in the Primary and Middle school. She is keenly interested in data analysis and strives to maintain the highest standards of assessment practices across the school.
