Teaching and Learning coach

Princy Soosepper holds a Postgraduate Degree in Microbiology and Cambridge International Certificate in Education with 12 years of academic experience.  She started her career in 2006 as a Lecturer in Biotechnology and since then she has been fortunate enough to make a positive difference to the skills and lives of her students. As a teacher, she consistently pursues innovative strategies to draw the best from all her students.  She has high expectations of herself and others and believes that overcoming challenges and problem solving is key to the success of a teacher and a leader.
During her journey in GLS for the past 5 years, her diligence and competence as a teacher elevated her to the position of a Teaching and Learning Coach, Science.  In her capacity as a Teaching and Learning Coach, she has been instrumental in coaching her team with research-based pedagogical strategies to enhance student outcomes in Science and to strengthen Enquiry skills and Climate Literacy.    She was one of the finalists for GESS Awards 2018 for the ‘Use of STEAM based learning’. She is a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert and integrates new technologies in learning.  As a UN accredited Climate Change Teacher she has succeeded in embedding climate literacy in the Science Curriculum across the Primary Phase.
