A Bachelor of Arts graduate and an ECCE-International Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education, Ms. Lorraine Gomes comes with thirty-eight years of experience in both CICSE and CBSE curricula. She has achieved certifications in Teaching Learners with Dyslexia and Teaching Learners with Special Education Needs from Oxford University Press. She has also completed the Level-4 Advanced Special Education Needs with High Distinction.
Lorraine has been a part of the GEMS Legacy School family for the last 29 years, working as an Educational Supervisor for 9 years and then subsequently as an Educational Supervisor for Students of Determination in the last 5 years. She works in close collaboration with classroom teachers to support the education of SEND students in common learning environments. She strongly believes that all children can learn and thrive in a learning environment that is stimulating and suitably adapted to their abilities.
